Senior Civil Technical Office Engineer

Prepare and review reinforcement steel detailing drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
Perform accurate engineering quantity take-offs for reinforced concrete works and other civil activities.
Calculate reinforcement steel quantities, including cutting lengths, bending details, and weight calculations.
Review structural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare detailed quantity surveys and material take-off sheets.
Identify and report discrepancies between structural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and other technical office team members to resolve technical issues.
Prepare and update shop drawings and technical documentation as required.
Monitor material quantities and minimize waste through accurate calculations and optimization.
Ensure all technical deliverables are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical office role within the construction or real estate development industry.
Strong hands-on experience in reinforcement steel detailing and BBS preparation.
Excellent skills in engineering quantity surveying and quantity take-offs.
Strong ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with relevant engineering software and detailing tools is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
