  • Support internal and external audit activities, including interim testing and annual financial statement audits
  • Assist with financial compliance across multiple states and business entities
  • Maintain fixed asset records and track capital expenditures for new store openings, remodels, and equipment purchases
  • Support lease accounting (ASC 842), including new lease setup, modifications, and monthly accounting
  • Assist with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold analysis, inventory reserves, and cycle count reconciliations
  • Prepare and support multi-state sales and use tax filings
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and assist with consolidations and eliminations
  • Prepare schedules supporting ownership reporting, lender compliance, and financial reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Operations leadership to research and explain financial performance at the store and regional level
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase the efficiency of the monthly close
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable, Payroll Accounting, or other accounting functions as business needs require

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of public accounting, audit, or corporate accounting experience

  • Retail, automotive, or service industry accounting experience
  • Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842)
  • Familiarity with private equity-backed or rapidly growing organizations

What We Offer
