Inventory Manager

Ginos Ventures Limited - As an Indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa, we provide solutions to all problems of procurement, distribution, and supply of all medical consumables.

We currently distribute for over 15 multinational healthcare companies and have a working relationship with about 60% of healthcare institutions in Nigeria with 23 Medical Representatives and 10 mini distributors that cover major regions in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location:  Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, optimize stock levels, and minimize losses.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory control and timely product availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Enforce inventory control procedures.
• Analyze stock data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support internal and external inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medical supplies.
• Oversee daily stock receipt, storage, issuance, and reconciliation.
• Conduct stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate stock movement with relevant departments.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock movement reports.
• Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Supervise warehouse organization and stock handling.
• Monitor damaged, expired, and slow-moving stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Forecast stock needs with the Procurement team.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Healthcare supply chain or distribution experience is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory forecasting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management.
• B.Sc. or B.A. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years in an Inventory Manager or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
