Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of full-stack applications.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.

- Design scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance application architectures.

- Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Contribute to front-end development using modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

- Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

- Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.

- Identify technical risks and dependencies and proactively work toward their resolution.

- Mentor developers and support the team in improving technical capabilities and engineering practices.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security across the development lifecycle.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, engineering standards, and delivery practices.

- Support CI/CD implementation and ensure smooth integration and deployment across environments.

- Work with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies to build and deploy scalable applications.

- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate development, and enhance code quality.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.

- Good experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.

- Hands-on experience with Angular or React is preferred.

- Strong understanding of front-end and backend integration.

- Good knowledge of databases, data modelling, and application performance optimization.

- Understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.

- Strong experience working in Agile development environments.

- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Understanding of source control and collaborative development practices, preferably Git.

AI-Assisted Development :

- The candidate should be comfortable working with modern AI-powered software development tools and understand how to incorporate them responsibly into the engineering lifecycle.

- Experience using AI-assisted tools for code generation, code refactoring, debugging, documentation, test creation, developer productivity, or software development workflows will be an advantage.

SDLC, Agile & DevOps :

- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.

- Understanding of application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Ability to collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability and engineering efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.

- Experience with microservices-based architectures.

- Exposure to cloud-native application development.

- Experience working in distributed and cross-functional teams.

- Experience driving technical modernization or application transformation initiatives.

- Experience adopting AI-assisted development practices within software engineering teams.
