What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering builds
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, the ability to thrive in small, empowered teams, and an intense desire to directly enable our customer’s success
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including system architecture and design specifications
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline
Qualifications You Must Have:
- DoD Clearance: Secret active on day one, ability to get TS and Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- This position requires 12 months or more of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, or Java, or similar high-level programming languages
- Experience with Scripting languages
- Clearly communicate plans, status, and issues to teammates and program leadership
- Ensure the successful integration of software components into delivered products
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Object Oriented and scripting languages
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
- Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using Java/C / C++ or modern software development language
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Software development lifecycle experience
- Well-developed communications skills and team collaboration skills
- Self-motivated
- Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer
- Proven ability to provide technical solutions to complex issues
- Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, and DevSecOps
- Familiarity with MS Office or similar productivity applications

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
