We have an immediate need for a Supervisor to join our Rifle Sight Assembly Team. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting the Sr. Supervisor, Rifle Sight Assembly. The Supervisor will support Raytheon ELCAN CORE methodologies and Operating systems (KPI’s); People, Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost. The Supervisor will be required to have a level of technical competency to apply a required percentage of touch labour on a daily basis.

The Supervisor will have performance management as well as employee development responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

What You Will Do:

• Share in the commitment towards fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Lead with a focus on the core Raytheon ELCAN professional values of respect, trust, and team collaboration.
• Support Raytheon ELCAN CORE methodologies and Operating Systems (KPIs), including People, Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
• Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve the organization, including cost reductions, resource utilization, policies/procedures, and products.
• Manage performance and oversee employee development responsibilities effectively.
• Ensure the floor has adequate tools, products, parts, chemicals, and work instructions for smooth and consistent operations.
• Initiate quality investigations when appropriate and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and processes.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Group Leads and team members as needed.
• Collaborate with the Senior Supervisor to coordinate operations, solve complex problems, and provide feedback on team performance.
• Maintain a structured and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and driving CORE continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Completion of a Post-Secondary education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing) or 5-10 years of equivalent work experience.
• Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions.
• Highly effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous supervisory experience in an AS9100 factory environment, with prior responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in an applicable discipline.
• Proven experience and knowledge of CORE principles, production systems, and team member roles and responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of supervisory responsibilities within the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Practical application experience in CORE continuous improvement processes and demonstrated professional values of respect, trust, and team collaboration.

The salary range for this role is 65,000 CAD - 107,800 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process.
