The global leader for sustainability reporting. Welcome to GRI. For nearly 30 years we have provided the common global language to assess and report environmental, social and economic impacts, as articulated through the GRI Standards.

About GRI

GRI is the independent global standard setter for sustainability impact reporting. GRI provides the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting standards and works with businesses, regulators, investors, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to advance transparency, accountability, and sustainable development.

Through a multi-stakeholder process, GRI develops standards that reflect global best practice and public interest. With staff in more than 20 countries, we combine global perspective with local relevance, supporting long-term value creation for organizations and society.

Joining GRI means being part of a global organization where your ideas matter, collaboration is part of everyday life and your work contributes to greater transparency, accountability and a more sustainable future.

About the role

As Digital Learning Operations Specialist, you will help keep the GRI’s digital services, systems and operational processes running smoothly. You will work across our learning management system (LMS), CRM, CMS, and reporting tools, helping colleagues and customers resolve issues, maintaining accurate information, and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes.

Your initial focus will be the digital learning infrastructure of the GRI Academy. You will support the day-to-day operation and continuity of the GRI Academy's digital learning infrastructure and related operational processes. You will help ensure that the Academy's LMS, webshop connections, course information, enrollment processes and related data are maintained accurately and run reliably.

You will investigate and coordinate the resolution of system issues, maintain operational information, and identify opportunities to improve processes. You will work across the GRI team and with external technology providers to ensure that the Academy's systems and processes are well managed and that customers have a consistent experience.

Alongside this core responsibility, you will support reporting, customer enquiries and other operational activities related to the Academy, with potential to support other areas of GRI as requirements evolve. You will also have opportunities to connect with other business units as GRI’s offerings grow with users and customers at their center.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining technology, data and customer interaction. You do not need to be an expert in every system. You do need to be curious, structured, comfortable investigating problems and willing to learn.

You will report to the GRI Academy Program Manager and work with colleagues across GRI, as well as external technology and service providers. The role offers broad exposure to digital learning operations, customer experience, systems coordination and business reporting within an international sustainability organization.

Responsibilities

Delivery

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Academy's digital learning infrastructure, including the Learning Management System (LMS) and its connections with the webshop and other relevant systems.

  • Maintain accurate course information, pricing, enrolment flows and operational data across relevant platforms.

  • Investigate system and process issues and coordinate their resolution with internal colleagues and external technology providers.

  • Document key processes, system dependencies, and operational procedures to support continuity and knowledge sharing.

  • Maintain operational data and produce recurring reports and dashboards to monitor performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work and improve the reliability of Academy operations.

  • Contribute to Academy-related projects by coordinating actions, tracking progress and preparing updates for relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage and prioritize day-to-day activities within the agreed scope of the role, escalating significant issues, risks, and dependencies to the Academy Programme Manager.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external technology providers to ensure that system changes and operational improvements are implemented accurately and effectively.

Engagement

  • Investigate issues and coordinate or escalate their resolution.

  • Act as a point of contact for Academy systems and operational questions, working with internal colleagues and external providers to resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and share customer feedback and operational insights with relevant colleagues to inform improvements to products, services and processes.

  • Support commercial activities by following up on relevant leads, recording interactions in the CRM and directing opportunities to the appropriate colleagues.

  • Work closely with colleagues across GRI to coordinate activities, resolve operational issues, and support a consistent customer experience.

Requirements

Work experience

  • Supporting a digital Learning Management System (LMS) including maintaining course information, managing enrollment process and resolving system related issues.

  • Developing and supporting digital products or services, ideally including e-learning products.

  • Working across multiple business systems (e.g. LMS, CRM, CMS) and maintaining accurate, consistent information across them.

  • Using data to inform operational and business decisions and identify trends and improvements.

  • Responding to customer or stakeholder enquiries, investigating issues and coordinating their resolution.

Knowledge and abilities

  • Developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or a comparable reporting tool.

  • Using Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM platform.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and the operational requirements of digital learning platforms.

  • Understanding of how LMS, CRM, CMS and webshop systems interact, including enrollment processes, data flows and online payments.
