MERN Stack Developer - React.js/Node.js

We are looking for an experienced MERN Stack Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript to join our engineering team at GlobalLogic.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using the MERN technology stack.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with strong proficiency in TypeScript.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust full-stack applications, build reusable components, integrate APIs, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

- Develop scalable and maintainable frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.

- Build robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.

- Implement TypeScript across frontend and backend applications to ensure type safety and code quality.

- Develop reusable UI components, application modules, and efficient frontend architectures.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and thirdparty services.

- Design and manage database schemas, queries, and data models using MongoDB.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.

- Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.

- Write clean, reusable, modular, and welldocumented code.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.

- Work with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

- Identify technical issues and continuously improve application performance and development practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong handson experience in fullstack development using the MERN stack.

- Mandatory proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

- Strong experience with React.js, including Hooks, Context API, and componentbased architecture.

- Handson experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.

- Good understanding of MongoDB, database design, schema modelling, and query optimization.

- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and eventdriven architecture.

- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.

- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or similar tools.

- Understanding of responsive web design and crossbrowser compatibility.

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

- Experience with unit testing and frontend/backend testing frameworks.

- Understanding of web application security, authentication, and authorization.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
