About the role:

Solution Architect (SA III) provides technical leadership for agile teams and defines a shared technical vision for marketing technology and customer engagement solutions. The SA architects end-to-end solutions across Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities, including Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and related integration patterns. This role translates business, marketing, compliance, and customer experience needs into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions that enable personalized digital engagement and customer communications.

In this role you will:

• Define the technical and architectural vision for Adobe marketing and customer engagement solutions, including evaluation of platform capabilities, integration options, and trade-offs
• Continuously evolve solution architecture with input and feedback from marketing technology teams, product owners, application architects, software engineers, cybersecurity, compliance, and business stakeholders
• Outline the primary components, interfaces, data flows, and integrations across Adobe Experience Cloud, enterprise data platforms, APIs, event-driven services, and downstream communication channels
• Plan and develop architecture runway enablers through research, prototyping, and analysis of alternatives for Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Manager, and related marketing technology capabilities
• Work with Product Managers, Product Owners, Application Architects, and Software Engineering teams to elaborate business and marketing requirements into technical requirements and implementation-ready stories
• Support governance, security, privacy, consent, and compliance alignment for marketing communications, customer journey orchestration, personalization, and data activation use cases
• Participate in solution demos, program planning, architecture reviews, and cross-functional working sessions to identify risks, dependencies, reusable patterns, and opportunities for improvement

What makes an ideal candidate?

• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, product delivery, and cross-functional collaboration across business, marketing, technology, data, security, and compliance teams
• Advanced knowledge of multi-tier application architecture, API integration, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities preferred, including Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and related marketing technology tools
• Experience designing customer journey orchestration, segmentation, personalization, campaign execution, consent-aware engagement, and digital communication solutions preferred
• Experience with customer communication management platforms or enterprise correspondence solutions is a plus
• Experience integrating Adobe platforms with enterprise data sources, customer profile data, APIs, events, messaging platforms, and downstream servicing or communication systems preferred
• Experience in building cloud solution architecture using Public Clouds (IaaS and PaaS) preferred
• Experience in containerization, DevOps, CI/CD, release governance, and environment management preferred
• Ability to evaluate platform capabilities, vendor options, non-functional requirements, and architectural trade-offs to recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal direction and maximum accountability
• Ability to self-manage time and priorities in a complex multi-team agile environment while maintaining high-quality deliverables
• Works through others to achieve more than individual contribution
• Strong communication skills - proficient in communicating technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences of varying skillset and levels of the organization

AI Skills Preferred:

• Experience with AI assisted software development or automation
• Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality
• Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations

Work Experience and Education

• 4-6 years of relevant experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
