GoHighLevel is an American software company founded in 2018 that sells an all-in-one marketing and customer relationship platform designed to be resold by agencies under their own brand. Rather than selling to end businesses directly, it lets a marketing agency white-label the platform, set its own prices and run hundreds of client accounts from one place, which turns its customers into its distribution channel. Headquartered in Dallas and bootstrapped rather than venture funded for most of its life, it has grown very quickly among small marketing agencies serving local businesses.

About Us

HighLevel is an AI powered, all-in-one white-label sales & marketing platform that empowers agencies, entrepreneurs, and businesses to elevate their digital presence and drive growth. We are proud to support a global and growing community of over 2 million businesses, comprised of agencies, consultants, and businesses of all sizes and industries. HighLevel empowers users with all the tools needed to capture, nurture, and close new leads into repeat customers. As of mid 2025, HighLevel processes over 4 billion API hits and handles more than 2.5 billion message events every day. Our platform manages over 250 terabytes of data distributed across five databases, operates with a network of over 250 microservices, and supports over 1 million hostnames.

Our People

With over 1,500 team members across 15+ countries, we operate in a global, remote-first environment. We are building more than software; we are building a global community rooted in creativity, collaboration, and impact. We take pride in cultivating a culture where innovation thrives, ideas are celebrated, and people come first, no matter where they call home.

Our Impact

As of mid 2026, our platform powers over 1.5 billion messages, helps generate over 200 million leads, and facilitates over 20 million conversations for the more than 2 million businesses we serve each month. Behind those numbers are real people growing their companies, connecting with customers, and making their mark - and we get to help make that happen.

About the Role

The Payments Platform team at HighLevel builds and scales the payment orchestration layer that powers every transaction across our ecosystem from invoices and subscriptions to point-of-sale and mobile checkout. The orchestration platform is the engine that routes payments across providers, processes transactions, generates receipts, and ingests webhook events at scale, making it one of the most business-critical systems we run. This role is a rare opportunity to own core payments infrastructure that hundreds of thousands of businesses depend on every day.

We are seeking a Product Manager II, Payment Orchestration, who will own the roadmap and execution for HighLevel’s orchestration platform spanning the orchestrator, transaction lifecycle, receipts, and webhook ingress. You will be responsible for the reliability, breadth, and developer experience of the platform that every payment surface at HighLevel is built on top of.

The ideal candidate combines product judgment with technical fluency, comfortable reasoning about payment routing, PSP integrations, idempotency, and event delivery, while keeping adoption, transaction success, and customer trust at the center of every decision. This is a role for someone who wants to go deep on payments infrastructure and translate that depth into measurable product outcomes.

Your mission: To build a reliable, extensible, and provider-agnostic payment orchestration platform that maximizes transaction success and powers fast, secure, and seamless payment experiences across HighLevel’s global customer base.

What You’ll Do

Own the Orchestration Roadmap & Execution - Define and deliver the roadmap for the payment orchestration platform, spanning the orchestrator, transaction lifecycle, receipts, and webhook ingress, with a strong focus on reliability, coverage, and transaction success.

Drive Payment Routing & Provider Strategy - Improve authorization rates and cost efficiency through smart routing, provider selection, retries, and failover across multiple PSPs and gateways.

Own the Transaction Lifecycle - Lead the end-to-end handling of authorizations, captures, refunds, voids, and disputes, ensuring correctness, idempotency, and state integrity at scale.

Deliver Reliable Webhook Ingress - Build robust inbound webhook processing that normalizes, deduplicates, and reliably fans out provider events to downstream services with strong delivery guarantees.

Ship Trustworthy Receipts & Records - Own accurate, well-formatted receipts and transaction records that give customers and their end users clear, trustworthy proof of every payment.

Elevate Platform APIs & Developer Experience - Partner with engineering to design clean, well-documented payment APIs and events that internal teams and product surfaces can build on with confidence.

Champion Reliability & Observability - Treat uptime, latency, and error rates as first-class product metrics, driving instrumentation, alerting, and reconciliation to keep the platform accurate and dependable.

Ensure Scale, Security & Compliance - Own PCI, risk, and data-integrity considerations, ensuring the platform stays secure, scalable, and compliant as volume grows.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work closely with engineering, design, data, risk, support, and partner-facing teams to align the platform with the needs of every payment surface it powers.

Leverage Payments Data for Decisions - Use metrics such as authorization rates, transaction success, failure reasons, latency, and reconciliation gaps to prioritize the roadmap and measure impact.

Own Outcomes, Not Just Features - Deliver measurable improvements in transaction success, platform reliability, and provider coverage, and in the experience of the teams building on the platform.

Who You Are

Payments & Platform Experience - You have built and shipped features within a payments, fintech, or platform/infrastructure ecosystem, delivering secure, reliable systems that operate at scale.

Technically Fluent - You can hold your own with engineers on APIs, webhooks, idempotency, routing logic, and failure modes, and you use that fluency to make sharper product decisions.

Reliability-Minded - You care deeply about correctness, uptime, and edge cases, and you design for the failure paths - retries, timeouts, duplicates, and reconciliation, not just the happy path.

Customer- & Developer-Centric - You balance business goals, risk, and trust, keeping the needs of both end customers and the internal teams who build on your platform at the center of your decisions.

Strategic and Execution-Focused - You can shape a clear roadmap for your area while staying deeply involved in execution to ensure ideas translate into shipped, measurable impact.

Highly Data-Driven in Ambiguity - You are comfortable working with messy, incomplete data - transaction logs, failure reasons, and provider quirks - to find patterns and derive actionable insights.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, with a focus on payments, fintech, platform, or API/infrastructure products,

  • A track record of shipping impactful platform or infrastructure features that improved reliability, coverage, or transaction success in a high-scale environment.

  • A working understanding of payment systems PSP/gateway integrations, the authorization-to-settlement lifecycle, webhooks, idempotency, and reconciliation.

  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to partner closely with engineering on API design, event models, and system trade-offs.

  • Familiarity with SaaS and platform growth levers, including adoption of internal platforms, developer experience, and reliability as a driver of customer trust.

Bonus:

  • You have worked on a payments or fintech platform processing significant transaction volume across multiple providers, and can clearly articulate your impact on reliability, authorization rates, and customer trust.
