Why This Role Matters
As a Manager- Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across your assigned region by building a high-performing sales team, expanding GoKwik's merchant base, and strengthening relationships with customers and partners. You will play a critical role in executing regional sales strategies, delivering predictable revenue, and identifying new growth opportunities while ensuring operational excellence across the sales function.
What You'll Own
- Own the revenue, growth, and sales performance for your assigned region.
- Develop regional sales plans and quotas aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute regional sales strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance with high accuracy.
- Build and expand the regional customer base by identifying new business opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, and coach high-performing sales talent.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development support.
- Monitor key sales metrics and use data to improve team productivity and conversion.
- Analyze regional market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive local marketing initiatives and sales campaigns to improve pipeline generation and market penetration.
- Review regional budgets and expenses while identifying opportunities for greater operational efficiency.
- Recommend new products, services, and sales approaches based on customer and market feedback.
- Represent GoKwik at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as required.
Who You Are
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Regional Sales, Area Sales, or similar leadership roles.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in managing sales teams and building high-performing organizations.
- Skilled in account management, customer acquisition, and regional business development.
- Experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI-driven decision-making.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline); an MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
