We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our growing team and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering effective Mathematics lessons that develop students' subject knowledge, problem-solving abilities and confidence in applying mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.

• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to meet students' different learning needs.

• Monitor, assess and record students' academic progress.

• Prepare assignments, assessments and learning resources to support student achievement.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning and independent learning.

• Provide constructive feedback and appropriate support to help students improve.

• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding students' progress and learning needs.

• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• A relevant teaching qualification in Mathematics or a related field.

• Previous Mathematics teaching experience; experience in an international school or with the British curriculum is an advantage.

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts effectively.

• Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.

• The ability to plan lessons that engage students and accommodate different learning abilities.

• A commitment to high academic standards and continuous student improvement.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional teaching team.

• A positive attitude, adaptability and a genuine passion for teaching.
