GoMining lets users mine, earn, manage and use BTC in one app, with daily rewards, a wallet, crypto payments, travel booking and loans.

At GoMining, a General Manager is the end-to-end owner of a business direction, responsible for its strategy, P&L, product, team, and overall results. A GM combines business, product, and operational ownership - setting priorities, managing unit economics, driving execution, and making decisions based on data. The goal is to run the direction as a business and take full responsibility for its growth, profitability, and performance.

We are looking for a General Manager to own the platform that powers the GoMining ecosystem.

The Platform team builds and operates the shared foundation used by multiple GoMining products - core application infrastructure, authentication, integrations, analytics events, user restrictions, native applications, design systems, reliability, and other shared services.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and business.

You will need to balance long-term platform investments in reliability, architecture, and security with high-priority business requests where a relatively small technical change can directly unlock revenue.

This is not a pure infrastructure or engineering management role. You will own the Platform direction end-to-end - strategy, roadmap, delivery, metrics, team, and its impact on the wider business.

Responsibilities

Platform Ownership

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the GoMining platform.
  • Build a scalable shared platform used by multiple product teams.
  • Identify which capabilities should be centralized and which should remain within individual product teams.
  • Prioritize platform investments based on technical risk and business impact.
  • Work directly with product General Managers and C-level stakeholders.
  • Ensure the platform enables product teams to move faster rather than becoming a bottleneck.

Reliability & Infrastructure

  • Own platform uptime, availability, latency, and reliability.
  • Define and track SLAs and operational performance.
  • Own incident management and post-incident improvements.
  • Improve release stability and engineering performance.
  • Track and improve DORA metrics.
  • Identify technical bottlenecks before they become business-critical problems.

Shared Product Infrastructure

  • Own shared authentication and registration infrastructure.
  • Develop unified authorization and 2FA capabilities.
  • Build common mechanisms for user restrictions and account-level controls.
  • Support integrations required by different GoMining products.
  • Own shared analytics events and related platform capabilities.
  • Support native applications and common product infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain shared design-system capabilities together with Product and Design.

Business Enablement

  • Work closely with other business lines to understand their platform dependencies.
  • Handle high-priority requests where integrations, events, admin functionality, or other platform changes directly affect revenue or customer experience.
  • Balance urgent commercial requests against long-term technical and security priorities.
  • Create transparent prioritization mechanisms across competing internal stakeholders.
  • Measure Platform not only by technical performance but also by its ability to accelerate the rest of the company.

Security

  • Ensure security is built into platform architecture and engineering processes.
  • Work closely with Security, Risk, and other relevant teams.
  • Own platform-level security initiatives within the agreed scope.
  • Improve authentication, authorization, access controls, and platform resilience.

AI-First Engineering

  • Personally use AI tools and agents in day-to-day work.
  • Introduce AI-assisted workflows across engineering, specifications, analytics, QA, and operational processes.
  • Identify areas where AI can reduce repetitive work and increase engineering velocity.
  • Build a team where AI is part of the operating model rather than an occasional tool.

Team & Delivery

  • Lead the engineering team together with the Tech Lead.
  • Own priorities, backlog, releases, incidents, and delivery.
  • Set clear technical and business metrics.
  • Hire, develop, and manage team performance.
  • Maintain a high execution speed with minimal bureaucracy.

Requirements

  • Strong experience leading platform, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
  • Experience building shared infrastructure used by multiple products or engineering teams.
  • Hands-on understanding of uptime, reliability, incidents, security, and high-load systems.
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture and integrations.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, shared services, or similar platform capabilities.
  • Ability to balance technical priorities with immediate business needs.
  • Strong product and commercial mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and business leaders.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and delivery.
  • Strong data-driven approach.
  • Real hands-on use of AI tools and agents.
  • Experience in fintech, crypto, gaming, hosting, or another high-load technology environment is highly relevant.

Benefits

  • Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
  • Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
  • Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year
  • Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
  • Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
