Digital Product Manager

Role & responsibilities:
- Define and execute the digital product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business and customer objectives.
- Own the end-to-end digital product lifecycle from discovery and validation through development, launch, growth, optimization, and retirement.
- Conduct customer research, user interviews, market analysis, and competitive research to identify customer needs and product opportunities.
- Translate business and customer requirements into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable product backlogs.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer value, business impact, data, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Data, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver digital products.
- Lead Agile product development ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define and monitor product KPIs such as acquisition, activation, conversion, engagement, retention, churn, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Use product analytics, experimentation, A/B testing, and customer feedback to make data-driven product decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, usability, conversion, adoption, and product engagement.
- Develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for new products, features, and major releases.
- Partner with marketing and growth teams on customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, personalization, and product-led growth initiatives.
- Support pricing, packaging, monetization, and revenue-growth initiatives.
- Work with technology teams to define product architecture requirements and integrations involving APIs, cloud platforms, mobile applications, web platforms, and third-party systems.
- Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives across customer-facing channels and platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including AI/ML, Generative AI, automation, APIs, cloud, and personalization for product opportunities.
- Manage product risks, dependencies, technical constraints, delivery timelines, and cross-functional priorities.
- Develop product business cases and contribute to budgeting, investment decisions, and resource planning.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, performance, risks, and business outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Establish continuous feedback loops with customers, sales, support, operations, and other business teams.
- Drive continuous product improvement through analytics, experimentation, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Product Management, Product Strategy, Business Analysis, or technology-led product roles.
- Proven experience owning digital products, platforms, mobile applications, web applications, SaaS products, ecommerce platforms, fintech products, or customer-facing digital experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete product lifecycle from discovery to launch and optimization.
- Strong expertise in product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, product discovery, requirements management, and Agile product development.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, customer journeys, usability, design thinking, and customer-centric product development.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using product analytics, KPIs, funnels, cohorts, A/B testing, experimentation, and customer insights.
- Experience improving metrics such as conversion, engagement, activation, retention, adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of digital business models, SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, subscriptions, marketplaces, or platform businesses is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of APIs, REST, microservices, cloud computing, databases, mobile/web technologies, and software development lifecycles.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP, APIs, third-party integrations, or digital platforms is desirable.
- Strong understanding of Go-to-Market strategy, product growth, pricing, monetization, and product-led growth.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams and translating business requirements into technically feasible product solutions.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional, Agile, and matrix organizations.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and customer orientation.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, automation, personalization, recommendation engines, or other emerging digital technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Figma, or similar product/analytics platforms is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; MBA/PGDM is advantageous.
- Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Digital Transformation, or Analytics certifications are an added advantage.
