Canada: $150000 - $153000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Operate at the cutting edge of this defense, build innovative solutions that protect the Ads ecosystem from ever-changing attacks by decoding adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
• Protect billions of users, offering ample opportunities for growth and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-product teams like Ads Quality, Trust and Safety, GBO, YouTube, and Google Play.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related security field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in security engineering, threat intelligence, trust and safety, or a related abuse-fighting field.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
• Experience working with data analysis, SQL, and investigating datasets to uncover patterns or anomalies.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with machine learning models and applying ML techniques to classification or anomaly detection problems.
• Experience leading cross-functional investigations, attributing threat campaigns, or discovering novel systemic vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), with experience mapping behaviors to intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, STIX, Diamond Model).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and partner teams.
