We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a Product Manager, you will be a key member of the cross-functional Chrome Privacy and Trust team, partnering with stakeholders. The Chrome Privacy team’s mission is to transform Chrome into a Trusted AI Partner, shaping the future of AI-assisted browsing with privacy built-in from the ground up. Our team ensures that Chrome maintains user trust by delivering cutting-edge AI experiences responsibly, giving users clear agency over their data through transparency and easy-to-use controls.
You will work on visible user experiences in Chrome, shaping the next generation of user privacy. This includes evolving Chrome’s privacy story to match new ways of browsing such as Agent Activity management controls and permission models. Your work will ensure that users are and feel safe, empowered, and in control whenever they use Chrome.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Germany: €102000 - €104000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a clear, coherent product goal and strategy for Chrome Privacy in an AI-first era, securing alignment from key stakeholders across Chrome and Google.
- Own and execute a product roadmap, designing and launching next-generation privacy and trust features in Chrome.
- Design and launch intuitive transparency and control for AI-powered features and agentic browsing workflows, giving users easy-to-use and real-time control over their data.
- Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and UX research outcomes to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from UX Design, UX Research, UX Writing, Marketing, Legal, PR, Data Science, and other functions.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building consumer-facing software and a track record of delivering features end-to-end.
- Knowledgeable across many functional areas incl. engineering, user experience and user research.
- Proven track record for product delivery and ability to break down an ambiguous problem space into tangible short-term steps.
- Ability to meld quantitative data, qualitative insights, and your own product instincts.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on projects spanning multiple teams.
