Our mission is to make it effortless for people to catch up on their interests by bringing together informative, entertaining content.

Our role in Discover Data Science is to advance that mission with a data-informed strategy, identifying opportunities and accelerating execution. The Discover Feed Experiences team owns the user-facing (non-ranking) elements of the Discover product including experience, growth, AI integration into feed and more.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

Conduct analysis and define launch criteria for important launches, designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments to measure the impact of new features and product changes, ensuring we make data-driven decision.
Drive exploratory analysis and user understanding, user behavior patterns, and identifying, sizing and articulating new opportunities for Discover.
Work with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, UXR, Design) on launch analysis, product iteration, and impact quantification.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) (or 5 years work experience with a Master's degree).

Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
Excellent communication skills, especially in communicating technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences across different levels.
Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
