Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

Responsibilities

Collaborate cross functionally to design and build industry-leading video editing features.
Work with other engineers on a global team to continuously improve our software components and architecture.
Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code.
Work with other engineers to define, and continuously improve our software architecture, making it scalable, reliable and easy to reason about.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with back-end development and experience in the client platform (e.g., Android or iOS).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) development on back-end systems.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
