The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision making through deep, scalable, and actionable investigative insights into core business decisions.
  • Structure and communicate complex, ambiguous, and testing business issues to advise the Google Cloud Sales leadership team.
  • Build a network across Sales, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance, both in partnership and across teams, to resolve a range of investigative and operational questions.
  • Design scalable processes to minimize inefficiencies.
  • Develop modeling and dashboard creation for sales performance metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in sales operations, sales finance, planning, consulting, investment banking, or similar data-driven business roles.
  • Experience with SQL and other database, scripting, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience modeling enterprise sales performance metrics such as consumption based business and bookings.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales finance, planning, consulting, investment banking, or similar data-driven business roles.
  • Excellent investigative and communication skills, with the ability to construct, articulate and defend simple and impactful messages/insights from complex analysis.
  • Excellent business judgment skills, with the ability to influence business leadership.
