Data Engineer

Description: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven initiatives.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data transformation processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability.
Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures.
Continuously evaluate and improve data systems to optimize performance and scalability.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and apply them to our data systems.
Mentor and train junior data engineers on data engineering best practices and technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering.
Strong experience with Databricks and other big data technologies such as PySpark, and Kafka.
Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of data security and privacy principles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
