We are looking for a Director / Deputy Director, Product Management to join our team at Singapore Tourism Board (STB). This is a role for someone who operates at the intersection of deep product craft, strategic leadership, and organisational influence - someone who doesn't just build great products, but shapes how an entire department thinks about and delivers them.
As Deputy Director / Director, Product Management, you will shape and deliver a portfolio of digital products that support STB's tourism transformation across digital priorities: deliver data analytics to drive tourism business growth, improve tourism industry productivity, augment visitor experience, enhance business engagement and drive employee. As a senior leader, you will mentor the next generation of product leaders, and drive alignment across teams on strategy, execution, and culture. You will be expected to lead through influence as much as through authority, and to leave the organisation meaningfully better than you found it.

Your core responsibilities include:
Product Strategy and Execution
You will lead the development of product strategy grounded in user insights, market dynamics, and organisational goals. You will identify and prioritise product opportunities based on visitor and industry needs, strategic impact and feasibility, and make deliberate choices on where STB should invest, scale, partner or stop. You are the person others turn to when facing complex, ambiguous problems - guiding junior product managers on how to perform rigorous analysis and translate findings into sound product decisions. You will be accountable for balancing short-term delivery speed against long-term technical debt, and for fostering a team culture defined by speed, simplicity, and agility.
Divisional Ownership
You will take full accountability for the success of the product division and digital product portfolio. Working with business stakeholders, you will algin and establish clear measures of success, prioritise investments and resources across products, and ensure that products progress from experimentation to adoption and scale. You will make evidence-based decisions on when to invest, pivot, partner or stop, ensuring that STB's product investments deliver tangible outcomes for the tourism industry, visitors and STB.
Strategic Alignment
You will translate divisional goals into a coherent theory of success, working with teams to develop OKRs and long-term roadmaps. You proactively anticipate systemic risks and changes, and take initiative to lead workstreams that keep the STB moving in the right direction. You are comfortable operating across teams and functions, ensuring that effort is aligned and that progress is visible.
Culture and Organisational Influence
You will shape the culture of the division - championing open communication, continuous improvement, and genuine collaboration. You build and maintain strategic cross-functional partnerships, facilitate high-stakes discussions, and ensure that diverse perspectives are heard and acted upon. You are willing to make structural changes where needed to help teams operate more effectively.
People Leadership
You will align division goals with broader STB objectives, setting high standards while empowering the people around you. You coach people managers and senior leaders, conduct regular one-on-ones with direct and indirect reports, and lead recruitment efforts to bring in and develop top talent. You take an active interest in team health - gathering feedback, providing the right resources and infrastructure, and keeping teams motivated and engaged over the long term.
[What we are looking for]
- Strong track record of leading complex digital products and platforms with at least 8 to 10 years of experience in product management, technology or digital organisations.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of digital products, prioritising investments and resources based on strategic impact, user needs and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data and design, and driving digital transformation across organisational boundaries.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment and drive change among senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data, AI and emerging technologies, with product development experience, preferably with AWS for data analytics and Salesforce for CRM.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing product teams, develop product leaders, and strengthen organisational product management capabilities and culture.
