[About the role]
We are seeking a strategic and outcome-driven Product Leader to drive the vision, strategy, development, and growth of digital products that support SportSG's mission and business objectives. The role is responsible for defining product direction, shaping roadmaps, and delivering impactful digital solutions through strong collaboration with stakeholders, agency partners, designers, and engineering teams.
The successful candidate will lead product discovery efforts by leveraging user research, market analysis, data insights, and policy considerations to identify opportunities and validate product investments. They will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from backlog prioritisation and requirements definition to product delivery, performance optimisation, and operational stability.
As a senior member of the product function, the role also involves building strong partnerships across SportSG and the wider public sector ecosystem, aligning diverse stakeholder interests, and ensuring products deliver meaningful outcomes for users and the organisation. In addition, the candidate will mentor and develop product managers, establish product management standards and best practices, and contribute to growing a high-performing product organisation within SportSG ITD.
[What you will be working on]
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and value proposition aligned to organisational priorities.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and partner collaboration to achieve strategic alignment and product success.
- Conduct product discovery through user research, market analysis, data insights, and experimentation.
- Own product backlog, prioritisation, requirements, and delivery outcomes across the product lifecycle.
- Monitor product performance and use analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Balance speed of delivery with long-term sustainability, scalability, and technical excellence.
- Ensure operational stability through oversight of product maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Lead, coach, and develop product managers while establishing product management practices and standards.
- Support talent acquisition and capability building to strengthen the product management function.
[What we are looking for]
- 7+ years of product management experience with a strong delivery track record.
- Leadership experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing product teams.
- Expertise in product strategy, roadmap management, analytics, and user-centric design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Demonstrates ownership, innovation, agility, and a growth mindset.
- Passion for sports and building products for public good.
