The Country & Marketing Analytics team helps the organisation by analysing in each of our countries our past operations and marketing initiatives, deciphering the impact on our business, our brand and our users, to augment the outcome of future initiatives.

Get to Know the Role

You will be working with various teams in Grab - Country Business, Operations, Marketing as well as Engineering, Product and other Data team to understand data requirements, identify and track key metrics, and provide data-driven solutions that are tailored and relevant to always-evolving innovation in Thailand markets. You will be reporting into Analytics Manager and will be based onsite at Grab Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Analytics Process & Framework Improvement:
  • Take end-to-end ownership of medium-sized analytics projects, defining methodologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and reproducible solutions.
  • Contribute to analytics-wide frameworks and integrate operations/marketing workflows into established data solutions.
• Influence & Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with direct stakeholders and adjacent cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with operational goals.
  • Communicate analytical solutions to mid-to-senior level partners, providing data-backed rationale to support decision-making.
• Data Solutions and Innovation:
  • Explore and propose workable, optimal solutions to challenges considering technical and operational constraints.
  • Proactively address blockers within the team to keep projects moving forward.
• Mentorship & Team Growth:
  • Mentor junior analysts by sharing technical best practices, guiding problem-solving approaches, and helping them develop their analytical capabilities.
  • Consistently seek out opportunities to improve personal technical skills and upgrade internal team processes and frameworks.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 4 years+ of analytical experience conjugated with business acumen, preferably in the e-commerce or the Internet industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative subjects
• Advanced experienced of analytical tools such as Excel (VBA, Pivot), database querying (SQL, Presto, Hive), visualisation and reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Holistics)
• Advanced experience of programming languages (Python, R)
• Strong ability to work with complex data sets
• Good communication skills to translate analytics specificities for all audiences
• Full professional working proficiency in English is required, on top of fluency in Thai
