Profile match
Graphcore is a British semiconductor company founded in Bristol in 2016 that designs the Intelligence Processing Unit, a processor architected specifically for machine learning rather than adapted from graphics. Its chips place large amounts of memory directly on the die and expose fine-grained parallelism, an approach aimed at sparse and irregular models that map poorly onto conventional accelerators. The company sells IPU systems and the Poplar software stack to research and enterprise customers, and has operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftBank Group since its acquisition in 2024.

About the job

Make global business travel simpler for colleagues, candidates and guests, balancing individual needs with company policy. As a Corporate Travel Coordinator in Bristol, you’ll provide hands-on support across Graphcore’s global travel operations.

You’ll help employees and guests arrange journeys through our online booking tool and offline travel agents. Well-organised travel for candidates and new joiners will help create a positive first impression of Graphcore. You’ll also coordinate group travel that brings colleagues together for company events. Day to day, you’ll answer visa questions, arrange airport transfers and manage travel expense approvals. You’ll support the Travel Manager with ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Beyond travel, you’ll support the wider Chief Financial Officer’s team with administrative tasks. You’ll book training courses, support onboarding and help our Graphcare committee.

The team and culture

You’ll join a growing travel team, supporting colleagues through the shared Travel inbox and Slack. You’ll take ownership of requests, respond promptly and use calm judgement when priorities change.

You’ll stay informed about travel trends, policies and global mobility updates. Professional development and learning resources will help you build your skills.

What we’re looking for

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar travel coordination support role in business travel and travel support.
  • Calm judgement under pressure and the ability to adapt when travel plans or priorities change.
  • Clear, empathetic and professional communication, with a focus on travellers’ needs.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn travel booking tools.
  • A proactive approach to teamwork, with the confidence to make decisions and take responsibility.

Benefits

  • Flexible working: Balance your work and personal life with greater flexibility
  • Generous leave: Take time to rest, recharge and enjoy life outside of work
  • Retirement planning support: Up to 5% matched pension
  • Phantom equity: Share in Graphcore’s success
  • Workplace experience: Enjoy thoughtfully designed office spaces for collaboration, with free food and an on-site barista to support your day
  • Peace of mind protection: Income protection and life assurance to provide financial security for you and your loved ones
  • Electric Vehicle Scheme: Choose an electric vehicle and lease it through salary sacrifice
  • Flexible benefits: Tailor your benefits package with a choice of additional options, including private medical insurance, cycle to work scheme and dental cover

We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work.

We’re an equal opportunity employer and recognise that everyone brings different strengths and perspectives. If you need any adjustments during the interview process, just let us know - we’re happy to support you.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa applications for this role.

Access to controlled technology

Some roles at Graphcore involve access to technology subject to U.S. export control regulations.
