We are hiring a Python Django Developer to build robust backend services and APIs that power our products. You will own features from design through deployment.



Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
  • Build high-performance microservices with FastAPI or Flask where suitable
  • Implement asynchronous and background processing with Celery
  • Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries
  • Write unit and integration tests and keep code quality high
  • Work with frontend and product teams to deliver features on time


Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience with Django
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and authentication
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database
  • Familiarity with Celery, caching and task queues
  • Comfortable with Git, Linux and agile workflows
