SDE III

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate SDE III with strong backend engineering expertise in Java, Python, and Go to build scalable, distributed, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate should have experience designing robust backend architectures, working with microservices, and solving complex engineering challenges in production environments. Candidates open to learning and working with Erlang will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and distributed applications.
• Build high-performance APIs and microservices using Java, Python, and Go.
• Work on low-latency, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient production-grade code.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Work with databases, messaging systems, caching layers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Be open to learning and contributing to systems developed in Erlang.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of strong software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Java, Python, Go (Golang)
• Good understanding of: Data Structures and Algorithms, OOPs Concepts, Distributed Systems, Multithreading and concurrency, and System Design Principles
• Hands-on experience with: Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Kafka / RabbitMQ or messaging systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in high-scale production environments.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Erlang or willingness to work with Erlang-based systems.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
• Prior experience in product-based or high-growth tech companies.
