SDET II (Python)

As an SDET II, you will build and scale robust test automation frameworks for our AI-driven warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain solutions. You will partner closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design high-impact test strategies, execute automated workflows, and raise the bar for software reliability and performance across our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest.
• Test Strategy and Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, execute manual/automated tests, analyze execution results, and track defects to resolution.
• Developer Collaboration: Partner with software developers to understand core feature architecture, conduct code reviews, and drive shift-left testing.
• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and continuous quality checks.
• Quality and Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the testing lifecycle and continuously optimize testing methodologies and coverage.
• Mentorship and Governance: Provide technical guidance and best-practice mentorship to junior QA engineers.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-6 Years.
• Key Requirement: Hands-on proficiency in Python and Pytest is strictly mandatory for this role.
• Mandatory Stack: Strong programming expertise in Python with hands-on experience using Pytest.
• Test Automation: Solid experience architecting test automation frameworks across UI, API, and microservices (e. g., Selenium, Playwright, or requests).
• CI/CD and DevOps: Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools (e. g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and pipeline automation.
• Data and Backend: Experience writing SQL queries for database validation and backend verification.
• Core QA Expertise: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, black-box, and white-box testing).
• Methodologies: Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, root-cause troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior exposure to performance/load testing tools (e. g., JMeter, Locust).
• Experience testing complex distributed systems, IoT, robotics, or supply chain execution software.
