AsPrincipalProductDeveloperat Epicor, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions that power our products and platforms. You will partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to turn complex business challenges into innovative technology solutions while driving modern engineering practices,cloudtransformation,andAIadoption.Weareseekingapplicantswithstrongtechnicalleadership,exceptionalproblem-solvingskills,andapassionforinnovationtohelpcreatelong-lastingsuccessforourcustomersandteams.

Whatyouwillbedoing:

• Defineanddrivesolution,application,andplatformarchitectureforenterprisesoftwareproducts.

• Leadthedesign,development,integration,testing,anddeploymentofscalable,secure,andcloud-nativesolutions.

• Contributedirectlytosoftwaredevelopment,debugging,anddeliveryofcriticalplatformcapabilitiesandproductfeatures.

• Establisharchitecturalstandards,designpatterns,andtechnicalgovernanceacrossengineeringteams.

• Conductcodereviewsandprovidetechnicalleadershipforcomplexinitiativesandstrategicprograms.

• Designsystemsfocusedonscalability,reliability,security,performance,andmaintainability.

• Evaluateemergingtechnologies,frameworks,andindustrybestpracticestodrivetechnicalinnovation.

• LeadcloudarchitectureandmodernizationinitiativesacrossAzure,AWS,and/orGoogleCloudenvironments.

• ChampionAI-enabledsolutionsandhelpdriveadoptionofmodernAItools,agentframeworks,ModelContextProtocol(MCP),Skillsarchitectures,andrelatedtechnologies.

• Developproof-of-conceptsandproduction-readysolutionsthatvalidatearchitecturaldirectionandbusinessvalue.

• Collaboratecloselywithengineeringteamstoresolvecomplextechnicalchallengesandensuresuccessfulimplementationofarchitecturaldesigns.

• Mentorengineersandtechnicalleads,fosteringengineeringexcellenceandcontinuousgrowth.

• Promoteautomation,CI/CD,observability,andmodernsoftwareengineeringbestpractices.

Whatyouwilllikelybring:

• 10+yearsofprogressivesoftwareengineeringexperience.

• 4+yearsinanArchitect,PrincipalEngineer,TechnicalLead,orsimilartechnicalleadershiprole.

• Strongexpertiseinsoftwarearchitecture,distributedsystems,andcloud-nativeapplicationdesign.

• Experiencedesigninganddeliveringenterprise-scalecloudsolutions.

• ExperiencewithAzure,AWS,and/orGoogleCloudPlatform.

• StrongunderstandingofAPIs,microservices,event-drivenarchitectures,andintegrationpatterns.

• Knowledgeofsoftwarequalitypractices,testingmethodologies,applicationsecurity,andperformanceoptimization.

• Provenabilitytoleadtechnicalteams,influencearchitecturaldecisions,andmentorengineers.

• Excellentcommunication,stakeholdermanagement,andproblem-solvingskills.

• Bachelor'sdegreeorequivalentpracticalexperience.

• Demonstratedabilitytodriveinnovation,modernization,andtechnologystrategy.

• Cloudarchitectureand/orcloudplatformcertifications.

• ExperiencewithAIplatforms,frameworks,andenterpriseAIsolutiondesign.

• Knowledgeoflargelanguagemodels(LLMs),agentframeworks,ModelContextProtocol(MCP),Skillsarchitectures,andmodernAIapplicationpatterns.

• Experienceevaluatingandimplementingemergingtechnologieswithinenterpriseenvironments.
