As our new Sales Development Engineer, Commercial Building Service Division, you'll be developing and executing sales growth strategies for commercial building services that expand Grundfos's footprint across key vertical markets in South Korea. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Building Service (CBS) team, you'll create impact by identifying new business opportunities and building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across data centers, hospitals, hotels, and other commercial building segments in the Korean market.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting commercial building verticals including data centers, hospitals, hotels, and mixed-use facilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive engagement with consultants, contractors, building owners, and MEP engineers
- Provide technical consultation on Grundfos pump and water technology solutions tailored to commercial HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Collaborate with internal teams including application engineering, marketing, and product management to deliver compelling value propositions
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive pipeline growth and achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and specifiers to secure project specifications
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a technically skilled sales professional with deep knowledge of commercial building systems and a proven ability to grow business in competitive B2B markets. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within HVAC, pumps, or building services industries
- Strong understanding of commercial building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection)
- Fluency in Korean and working proficiency in English
It's a plus if you also:
- Experience selling into data center, healthcare, or hospitality vertical markets
- Established network of consultants, contractors, or building owners in the Korean commercial building sector
- Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump/water technology product portfolios
