Internship: Junior Procurement Coordinator (UAE National)
Position Summary
We are inviting UAE Nationals to join our Procurement team and support day-to-day procurement and administrative activities across Gulf markets. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career in procurement within a multinational environment. The successful candidate will assist with supplier coordination, purchase order management, procurement documentation, reporting, and operational support while gaining exposure to procurement processes, systems, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with company policies.
- Assist in maintaining procurement records, supplier information, and contract documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect purchasing requirements and supporting documents.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Support supplier onboarding activities, including vendor creation and documentation collection.
- Assist with obtaining quotations from suppliers and maintaining pricing records.
- Monitor procurement requests and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Support invoice matching and coordinate with Finance to resolve basic procurement-related queries.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend trackers, and procurement data updates.
- Ensure procurement files and records are organized, accurate, and up to date.
- Assist the procurement team with tender, sourcing, and supplier management activities as required.
- Support compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- UAE National with Family Book.
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a procurement function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic exposure to Procurement, Supply Chain, or Administration.
- Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive attitude with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
