What You Will Do:

The position will act as a core member of the executive leadership team, responsible for architecting the organization’s people strategy to enable long-term business growth, resilience, and competitive advantage. This role goes beyond HR operations to shape culture, leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and future-ready talent.

Strategic Accountabilities

1. Enterprise People Strategy

· Co-create business strategy with the leadership team, translating it into a multi-year people and capability roadmap

· Align workforce strategy with growth plans, new markets, digital transformation, and productivity goals

· Anticipate future skills and build internal capabilities ahead of demand

2. Culture, Values & Leadership Effectiveness

· Define, embed, and measure a high-performance, values-led culture

· Serve as custodian of organizational values, ethics, and leadership behaviors

· Design leadership frameworks and executive development programs to build strong successors

3. Organization Design & Change Leadership

· Lead organization design, role clarity, and decision-right frameworks

· Act as the people lead during business transformations, M&A, restructuring, or rapid scale-up

· Build change management capability across leaders

4. Talent Succession

· Own enterprise-wide talent philosophy: development, mobility, and retention

· Build robust succession plans for critical and leadership roles

· Establish data-driven talent reviews and leadership assessments

5. Performance, Rewards & Governance

· Design performance systems that drive accountability, outcomes, and innovation

· Ensure compensation and reward strategies support business priorities and market competitiveness

· Partner with the Board / Compensation Committee on executive pay, succession, and governance

6. Employee Experience & Engagement

· Create a differentiated employee experience across the lifecycle

· Use people analytics and engagement insights to improve retention and productivity

· Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and well-being at scale

7. Risk, Compliance & Reputation

· Ensure robust governance, statutory compliance, and ethical labor practices

· Proactively manage people-related risk, reputational issues, and workforce stability

· Represent the organization externally on people, culture, and employer brand matters

Leadership Expectations

· Acts as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO and Board

· Brings strong business acumen and financial understanding

· Balances strategic vision with decisive execution

· Leads with courage, empathy, and high ethical standards

What You Will Need:

· MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent

· 25+ years of experience in large Consulting/ GCCs / IT services organizations

· Exposure to large-scale transformation, growth, or turnaround environments preferred
