What does your day look like as an Operations Manager
- You will maintain the day-to-day operational focus and lead the operational team on a daily basis
- You will work in the warehouse according to the LEAN philosophy and take charge of operational implementations, evaluations & budgets
- You will be coaching and mentoring your team, managing situations where a consensus needs to be found
- You will be responsible for a safe working environment
- You will be the primary contact person for your customers, managing expectations/statistics, implementing and delivering on KPIs and productivity targets
- You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting for your accounts
- You will report to the Site Manager
What do you need to be successful
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent through experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an Operations role and managerial experience of leading a team
- Good knowledge of automation
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment which is extremely fast-paced
- Lean background is a plus - ideally 5S
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
