[Remote] Senior Full Stack Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GymKeeper is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain its gym management software. The role covers end-to-end feature development across Laravel/PHP and Vue 3, customer-driven problem solving, and ownership of shipped code in a multi-tenant system and long-lived codebase.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end — Laravel and PHP on the server, Vue 3 on the screen
• Work in a multi-tenant system where every gym has its own database
• Take a problem from a customer's phone call to something shipped
• Keep a long-lived codebase working: new code beside legacy, neither one abandoned
• Own what you ship, including the day it misbehaves

Skills

• Several years writing production PHP and JavaScript
• Comfortable with SQL — not just an ORM
• You are not allergic to legacy, because every line you write is tomorrow's legacy
• Clear written communication: the team is small and mostly asynchronous
• Enough care to test the thing before a gym does
• Laravel and Vue 3 specifically
• Payment integrations, or hardware that has to work at a busy desk
• Finnish or Swedish, though the work is done in English
