Therapy Support Specialist | Full-Time | Outpatient | Beckley, WV
BODYWORKS, a H2 Health company, is hiring a full-time Therapy Support Specialist for our outpatient team in Beckley, WV.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a collaborative physical therapy and occupational therapy environment. You’ll help keep the clinic running smoothly while supporting patients throughout their visit, from scheduling and check-in to preparing for therapy and assisting with non-skilled activities directed by a licensed therapist. These responsibilities align with H2 Health's Therapy Support Specialist role.
Your Role
- Create a welcoming, positive experience for patients.
- Support patient scheduling, intake, and front-office needs.
- Assist with EMR tasks, referrals, and patient records.
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for therapy.
- Assist with exercises and functional activities as directed by a licensed therapist.
- Keep therapy equipment and clinic spaces clean, safe, and ready.
- Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and clinic team members.
- Help the team stay organized so clinicians can focus on patient care.
This is a non-skilled therapy support role and does not involve independently evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, or providing services that require professional therapy licensure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning healthcare systems.
- Organized, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Healthcare or medical office experience is a plus, but not required.
