The core mission of the Analytics Engineer:

HTB’s Analytics team is looking for an Analytics Engineer, who will enable various stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. As an Analytics Engineer at Hack The Box, you will bridge the gap between raw data transformation and business decision-making and you will take full end-to-end ownership of from cross-functional data modeling to delivering stakeholder-ready dashboards

Location & Work Mode:

• Greece

• Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote). Those based within 55 km of our Athens office will follow a hybrid work model. For candidates located beyond that radius, a fully remote arrangement is available.

Relocation

• We offer a 10% relocation bonus on the annual salary to support your move.
• In addition, you would benefit from a 50% tax reduction on your income as part of the relocation.
• We'll support you with accommodation during the first few weeks

The fellowship you’ll be joining:

• You will join an ambitious, highly collaborative team of experienced Analytics Engineers working in lockstep with our Data Engineering team to build HTB's next-generation data ecosystem.
• You will act as a primary analytics technical partner to key operational and leadership teams across Finance, Product, Customer Success , Sales, Operations & more

Technology tools & weapons you’ll be using:

• SQL
• dbt
• Tableau / Looker
• Git

Experience with Google Cloud Ecosystem BigQuery, Look ML, Looker) & Airflow or similar tools will be considered a plus

• Build and optimise data models (using SQL & dbt) to support business reporting and analysis needs.
• Develop, monitor, maintain, optimise and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data is accurate
• Implement data quality checks and validation routines to maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Contribute to big scale projects like transition to GCP
• Document data models, data transformations, and business logic for transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with other teams and other business stakeholders to define data requirements, business logic, and reporting needs.
• Assist in designing and developing new reports, dashboards, and visualisations based on business needs.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members on data-related matters
• Help build a data-driven culture across HTB

Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Analytics Engineer at Hack The Box:

• Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data transformation, and performance optimization.
• Experience in data modelling and data pipelines
• Experience in Tableau/Looker or at least 1 similar visualization tool
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools to accelerate SQL development, data modeling, and documentation.
• Strong ability to translate complex data models into clear business insights and partner with cross-functional teams to drive requirements.
• Full professional fluency in written and verbal English for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.
