Background & Context

The Commercial Digital Services Value Pool, within Haleon's Digital & Technology function, represents a multi-year enterprise transformation agenda aimed at unlocking £250m+ in commercial value through over £100m of targeted digital investment.

The portfolio is split across two portfolios (commercial excellence and marketing transformation)

The Marketing portfolio represents a significant strategic investment in the digital transformation of Haleon's global marketing capabilities. Within this portfolio, the A&P Effectiveness Programme is a strategic initiative focused on improving how Haleon plans, allocates, measures and optimises marketing investments to maximise business outcomes and return on investment.

The programme aims to enable more informed and data-driven marketing investment decisions through advanced analytics, enhanced planning capabilities, performance measurement frameworks, and integrated insights. By bringing together marketing data, analytics, technology and decision-support capabilities, the programme provides greater visibility of marketing effectiveness across brands, channels and markets.

The A&P Effectiveness Programme supports Haleon's ambition to improve the efficiency and impact of marketing expenditure, ensuring investment decisions are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver measurable commercial value.
