About the role

The Wellness & Oral Logistics Manager reports to the China Physical Distribution, Logistics and Warehouse Lead and is based in Suzhou or Shanghai, China.

Role Description:

This outlines Wellness & Orals Logistics Manager Role:

This role is responsible for national logistics operations management for the Oral and Wellness categories. Through continuous optimization of the logistics network, warehouse operations, transportation management, and third-party logistics service provider management, this role delivers excellent customer service levels, cost optimization, improved inventory efficiency, and compliant operations.

Support the company’s business growth strategy and assist the Physical Distribution, Logistics and Warehouse Lead in building an agile, efficient, and digital logistics operating model to ensure product safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the national logistics network operations for Oral Care and Wellness products.
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with GMP, GSP, EHS requirements and company quality standards.
  • Drive warehouse and transportation process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and service performance.
  • Ensure delivery of OTIF (On Time In Full) service targets and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Establish risk management, business continuity, and emergency response mechanisms to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities for warehouse synergies, transportation synergies, and shared resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Establish and continuously improve the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) management framework.
  • Define KPIs and service performance evaluation mechanisms.
  • Conduct regular business review meetings with logistics partners.
  • Drive productivity initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Develop logistics budgets and forecasts, perform regular logistics cost analysis and reporting.
  • Lead cost-saving projects and productivity improvement programs.
  • Support achievement of annual savings commitments.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including:

    • Manufacturing Sites
  • Build a high-performance team culture.
  • Cultivate future talent pipelines.
  • Enhance team performance through coaching, mentoring, and empowerment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer Goods industries preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing nationwide logistics networks.
  • Strong knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) management.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Track record of leading or contributing to enterprise-wide transformation programs, systems implementation, or process standardization initiatives.
  • Experience interfacing with senior leadership and influencing decision-making at category, business unit, and regional levels.

Business & Strategic Acumen skills

  • Experience driving productivity, lead time reduction and inventory optimization.
  • With data-driven insights, He/she must have a high level of experience and breadth of knowledge of distribution and warehousing

Financial Acumen

  • Accountability for W&D budgets, cost control, and delivery against business planning targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs between service, cost, inventory (DIO), and lead time to support business objectives.

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to translate national supply chain strategies into robust, executable operational plans.
  • Anticipates medium- to long-term W&D risks and opportunities, proactively defining mitigation and scenario plans.
  • Balances short-term execution excellence with long-term capability building, ensuring operations are resilient and aligned with future business growth.
  • Solve the problem cross the functions with a systematic approach.
  • Ability to influence, enable and drive changes in a dynamic and complex environment.
