We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?

The role of a Breakfast Chef at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa delivering an exceptional breakfast experience for guests, ensuring every dish reflects quality, consistency, freshness, and attention to detail. TheBreakfast Chef will oversee all aspects of breakfast preparation and service, maintainingoutstanding standards of presentation, flavourand organisation, while ensuring a smooth and efficient start to each day.

As Breakfast Chef, your rolewill focus on preparing and delivering a high-quality breakfast offering, including à la carte and buffet service, in line with the hotel’s standards and guest expectations. You will take ownership of your section, ensuring it is well-prepared, fully stocked, and set up for service, while consistently maintainingcleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities will also include managing breakfast mise enplace, monitoring stock levels, supporting cost control, and working closely with suppliers and the wider kitchen team to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will contribute to menu development by bringing ideas for seasonal dishes and innovative breakfast options, enhancing the overall guest experienceand helping uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence in luxury hospitality.

This is a full-time role working 5days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

• We are looking for active and enthusiastic candidates that have a willing attitude and a welcoming and friendly nature. We work as a team to ensure our hotel operatessmoothly and our guests are receiving a high-quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommendand return to time and time again.
• You will have previousexperience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partiewithin a high-quality hotel or restaurant environment, with a strong understanding of breakfast operations, including both plated and buffet service. A consistent focus on organisation, time management, and attention to detail is essential, particularly within a fast-paced morning service.
