C++ Trading System Developer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Trading Systems Developer with strong experience in Capital Markets and Electronic Trading environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance, low-latency trading applications that support market connectivity, order execution, and real-time market data processing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications using modern C++.

- Build and enhance low-latency, high-throughput systems for electronic trading platforms.

- Develop and support solutions related to Market Data, Direct Market Access (DMA), and Order Management Systems (OMS).

- Collaborate with traders, quants, business analysts, and technology teams to understand trading requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and execution latency to meet stringent trading requirements.

- Integrate trading platforms with exchanges, brokers, and market data providers.

- Develop real-time data processing and event-driven systems for trading workflows.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution in a fast-paced trading environment.

- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.

- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvements across trading platforms.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development.

- Strong experience in Capital Markets and Electronic Trading environments.

- Proven expertise in developing high-performance, low-latency trading systems.

- Strong knowledge of Market Data Systems, Direct Market Access (DMA), and Order Management Systems (OMS).

- Experience with multi-threaded, distributed, and event-driven application development.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, messaging protocols, and real-time systems.

- Experience in performance optimization, latency reduction, and system scalability.

- Knowledge of trading workflows, exchange connectivity, and order execution processes.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with FIX Protocol and exchange connectivity.

- Exposure to algorithmic trading platforms and execution management systems.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with cloud-native and containerized deployment environments.

- Experience with CI/CD practices and automated testing frameworks.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
