About the Team

Harmonic is scaling rapidly with open roles across the United States and United Kingdom. The Operations team is responsible for building the systems, processes, and operational rigor required to double headcount from 46 to 93 people over the next year. As the next Recruiter on the team, you’ll partner closely with leadership and hiring managers across Engineering, GTM, and Operations. What You'll Do

• Manage Full-Cycle Recruiting: Create and implement strategies to solve problems and build diverse pipelines across Harmonic’s teams through sourcing, referrals, research, events, and social media. Find and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques and help them envision life at Harmonic. Effectively manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high-volume periods while creating and owning a flawlessly positive candidate experience

• AI-Native: Champion an AI-native approach by identifying and implementing practical ways to use AI to automate routine work, streamline processes, improve decision-making, and help the team operate more efficiently.

• Be a Talent Advisor: Partner closely with hiring leaders to deeply understand their teams and goals. Organize and facilitate interview debriefs and drive offer approval, extension, and negotiation. Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the appropriate information to help make their decision as easy as possible

• Influence with data: Lives in the data. Makes calls on pipeline health, source performance, conversion metrics, and other data while simultaneously keeping clean data hygiene.

• Manage Stakeholders: Be seen as a trusted partner by other key cross-functional points of contact. Able to identify friction points, set appropriate expectations, and drive initiatives to overcome obstacles with a search.

• Be a Diversity Advocate: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify top talent and build diverse candidate pipelines. Advise on structured interview processes that mitigate unconscious bias. Coach leaders and interviewers in inclusive interviewing best practices and objective feedback.

• White Glove Service: Track pipeline data and provide relevant and consistent updates to hiring managers. Maintain high attention to detail when entering data into Ashby and other recruiting tools

• Be a Cultural Champion: Champion, role model, and embed Harmonic’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of GTM & Engineering recruiting experience in a fast-paced startup environment

• Strong experience with people analytics and reporting, with the ability to translate workforce data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.

• An AI-Native mindset, you use AI tools to move faster and you’re actively experimenting with what’s next - Claude, ChatGTP, Gemini, etc.

• Ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team

• Proven strategic and creative sourcing skills

• Team player with an eye for talent who loves connecting people and opportunities

• Able to confidently represent Harmonic with professionalism both internally and externally

• Previous experience working in cybersecurity is highly preferred

• Familiarity with Ashby, Juicebox, or equivalent ATS experience

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
