Experience & Education:

- 6+ years in QA (including 3+ years in data/ETL test automation and 2+ years in performance testing) with a Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience.

ETL & Data QA:

- Strong SQL proficiency; data warehouse validation (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL), reconciliation at scale, and data testing frameworks (Great Expectations, Soda Core, dbt tests).

Programming & Automation:

- Hands-on with Python, TypeScript, or Java using solid design patterns (fixtures, page objects, data builders).

API & UI Testing:

- REST/GraphQL test suites, contract testing (Pact), and stable UI automation using Playwright or Cypress.

Performance Testing:

- Load, stress, soak, and breakpoint testing using k6, JMeter, or Locust; defining SLAs/SLOs and interpreting p95/p99 metrics.

CI/CD, Containers & Observability:

- GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes-based ephemeral environments, and runtime telemetry correlation via Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

Test Strategy & Quality Gates:

- Translating PRDs/BRDs into test plans, driving shift-left testing, and building CI-native quality gates to block bad data and code regressions.
