Job Description

Job Purpose

• To lead improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives through process optimization, equipment enhancement, and performance analysis.
• The role provides technical expertise in identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and supporting technology deployment to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
• The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute improvement initiatives and achieve operational targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and equipment improvement projects.
• Analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct trials, studies, and validation activities.
• Support deployment of new technologies and engineering solutions.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor project execution and performance results.
• Track OEE, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare improvement reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Mentor Engineers and Technicians on improvement methodologies.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of plant maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 (IoT/Automation), manufacturing technologies, and GMP.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical plant systems (motors, pumps, piping, utilities).
• Experience in maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with plant safety standards and operational controls
• Skilled in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
