Job Title: Generator Operator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable Generator Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain industrial generators, ensuring a steady power supply for factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation and cleanliness of generator rooms.
• Monitor fuel, oil levels, temperature, and generator performance.
• Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify faults and report technical problems promptly.
• Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Operate and monitor industrial generators.
• Maintain generator operating and maintenance records.

Requirements

• Ability to work shifts when required.
• Knowledge of generator operation, servicing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic electrical knowledge or an electrical background is strongly preferred.
• 1–3 year of experience operating industrial generators.
• Ability to monitor generator performance and identify faults.
• Good safety awareness and record-keeping skills.

Added Advantage:

• OND, Trade Test, or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience operating industrial diesel generators in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of generator control panels, batteries, and changeover systems.
