EXECUTIVE - VESSEL OPERATIONS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with the Principal’s office, Vessel Master, Terminal, and relevant authorities to secure berthing arrangements.
• Board vessels to liaise effectively with vessel command and authorities for vessel clearance.
• Closely monitoring cargo operations to ensure quick vessel turnaround within minimum possible time.
• Coordinate with relevant personnel to arrange and deliver husbanding services promptly.
• Ensure timely system updates and respond to inquiries for smooth cargo operations.
• Provide timely vessel status and operational reports to the Principal and to the management.
• Prepare and submit accurate Inward and Outward declarations in a timely manner.
• Contribute positively towards achieving Principal and Company KPIs, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all related activities.
• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and submit them on time for processing.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 6 ‘Credit’ passes at the GCE O/L examination including Mathematics and English.
• A minimum of 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a related industry would be an added advantage.
• Good command of English both written and verbal.
• Sound knowledge on Microsoft Office packages.
