Overview of the Role

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be an integral member of our dynamic team, dedicated to enhancing and expanding the Corporate Broking Portal (CBP) for bank client. This portal is pivotal to our Corporate Broking Issuer Services, supporting essential banking operations for exchange-listed corporate clients. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative, scalable, and high-performance web solutions that drive business value and digital transformation within the financial services sector.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

• Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, deployment, and support for enterprise-level web applications.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Contribute to frontend development, leveraging modern frameworks or libraries to ensure responsive and user-centric design.

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions, optimizing application workloads for cloud environments.

• Champion DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated release management for continuous delivery.

• Ensure database integrity and performance through effective use of SQL/PLSQL and relational database management systems.

• Apply Agile methodologies, particularly Spotify Agile, to deliver incremental value in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Provide clear communication, feedback, and support within the team, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and performance testing to ensure robust and reliable deliverables.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with at least 7 years as a Full Stack Developer.

• Demonstrated expertise in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, REST and SOAP-based web services.

• Hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade applications with proven production deployment.

• Proficiency in cloud-native development and deploying workloads in cloud environments.

• Strong command of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, and release management.

• Experience with SQL/PLSQL and relational database management systems.

• Solid understanding of frontend development principles and hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework or library.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong foundation in Agile SDLC and related methodologies.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of Corporate Banking and Digital Banking domains is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with omni-channel strategies, mobility solutions, and API-driven architectures.

• Experience with responsive design and best practices in modern web development.

• Ability to proactively seek, provide, and act on feedback within a collaborative team environment.
