Group Technical Architect

Job Summary

• Extensive experience in AML, IBM DataStage, Snowflake, DBT and ETL/ELT frameworks and enterprise data engineering solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration pipelines using IBM DataStage, as well as building scalable data solutions on Snowflake, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory with strong understanding of batch incremental, CDC, reconciliation
• Extensive experience in dimensional data modeling, Snowflake Schema, Star Schema, Fact and dimensional table design
• Proven track record of leading and delivering 3 to 5 mid-to-large scale custom implementation projects.
• Experience leading the execution of complex technical initiatives and managing teams of Lead Developers and Senior Developers across nearshore and offshore locations
• Should have played a key role in conception of architectural concepts for large and complex systems on a global scale in typically heterogenous system environments
• Strong experience in developing ELT pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, AWS Glue, supporting large scale batch and near real time data processing
• Expertise in designing, developing, and managing ETL workflows using IBM DataStage and Snowflake
• Strong experience in advanced SQL, Python, Snowflake, DBT, ETL/ELT development, Datawarehouse architecture, dimensional modeling
• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all development and coding activities across the project lifecycle and teams located in offshore and nearshore
• Experience in automated data quality checks, covering schema conformity, completeness, freshness, reconciliation etc.
• Hands on experience in implementing Data quality frameworks, reconciliation process, audit controls, SLA monitoring across Snowflake Data Platforms
• Demonstrated experience in migrating legacy ETL workloads from DataStage/on-premises environments to Snowflake or other cloud platforms.
• Ability to develop prototypes, evaluate technical alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M and AutoSys.
• Experience integrating and managing Apache Kafka for event-driven and real-time data streaming solutions.
• Skilled in structuring and delivering technical solutions for medium to high-complexity projects.
• Proficient in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries across multiple database platforms.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles with the ability to collaborate closely with architecture teams on system and application design.
• Expertise in DataStage performance tuning and troubleshooting, including partitioning, parallelism, indexing, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to establish, communicate, and drive technical vision, goals, and direction for development teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills."
