Role Overview

Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic Salesforce transformation programme supporting the launch and growth of its retail banking capabilities. The role will be accountable for end-to-end programme governance, planning, stakeholder management, commercial oversight, risk management, and successful delivery of multiple workstreams spanning customer onboarding, servicing, operations, payments, integrations, and regulatory compliance. The programme includes Salesforce-based customer and operational journeys, enterprise integrations, and modern banking platform enablement.

The Programme Manager will serve as the primary engagement lead, working closely with ClearBank executives, product owners, architects, delivery teams, Salesforce stakeholders, and third-party partners to ensure business outcomes are achieved within agreed timelines, budget, quality, and regulatory expectations.

Programme Leadership

• Own overall delivery of the Salesforce transformation programme.
• Define and execute programme governance, delivery roadmap, and operating model.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising business analysts, architects, developers, testers, DevOps, and integration specialists.
• Drive alignment between business objectives, technology delivery, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Stakeholder Management

• Establish strong relationships with ClearBank business and technology leadership.
• Facilitate steering committees, governance forums, programme reviews, and executive updates.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely decision-making.
• Act as the primary escalation point for programme-level issues and risks.

Delivery & Execution Management

• Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Monitor programme progress, budget, resource utilisation, and delivery health.
• Ensure alignment across Salesforce, integration, data, testing, and operational workstreams.
• Drive dependency management across internal and external teams.
• Oversee release planning and production readiness activities.

Financial & Commercial Management

• Manage programme financials, forecasts, revenue, margin, and resource plans.
• Track commercial commitments and contractual deliverables.
• Drive efficient utilisation and cost optimisation.
• Support programme reporting and business reviews.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Establish programme governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Ensure delivery adheres to banking, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Drive mitigation plans and executive escalations when required.

Transformation & Change Management

• Support organisational change and adoption activities.
• Ensure successful transition to operational teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence practices.
• Promote Agile delivery and product-centric ways of working.

Skill Requirements

Required Experience

Essential

• 15+ years of IT delivery and programme management experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale transformation programmes exceeding £5M in value.
• Experience delivering complex Salesforce or CRM transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience in:

• FinTech
• Demonstrated success managing distributed onsite and offshore delivery teams.
• Experience managing executive and C-level stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with retail banking, customer onboarding, servicing, and operational transformation.
• Experience managing Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud programmes.
• Experience leading multi-vendor engagements.
• Familiarity with UK banking regulatory frameworks and operational resilience requirements.
