Job Summary
Testing fundamentals
- SIT methodology and cross-system integration testing (e.g. lifecycle → lending → settlement chains).
- Test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle in ALM Octane.
- Ability to validate real TRBK transactions, batch jobs (STBASETT, ZBS_SC1_SETTLE_RUN_PP) and multi-system interface outcomes - not just screen-level checks.
Automation (core differentiator)
- UFT / Playwright / Selenium - GUI automation, VBScript, data-driven/keyword-driven frameworks; understanding of transaction recording and object handling.
- API automation - REST/SOAP with RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI; essential for the interface-heavy TRBK landscape and for stable regression that doesn't depend on fragile GUI paths.
- CI/CD - Harness pipeline configuration (your nightly trigger), Git version control, and orchestration of overnight/scheduled regression runs.
- SAP-aware automation - familiarity with SAP GUI scripting; exposure to Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or SAP CBTA/eCATT is valuable, as pure UFT can struggle with SAP GUI stability at regression scale.
- Scripting in Java / Python / JavaScript for framework extension and utilities.
