Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in UI Automation using Selenium or Playwright.
Strong hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured or similar frameworks and good understanding of API testing fundamentals, including HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, authentication mechanisms, and API testing best practices.
Experience in Database Testing/Automation, including writing and validating SQL queries.
Strong programming skills in Java or Typescript.
Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with source control tools such as Git.
Understanding of and experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to independently design, develop, and troubleshoot automated test solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Exposure to Microservices-based applications.
Experience working with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and test automation best practices.
