Job Description: SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant
We are looking for a Mid-Level SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and supporting SD processes in an S/4HANA environment, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support core SAP SD processes: order-to-cash, pricing, billing, availability check, credit management, and shipping/delivery
Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system configuration
Perform end-to-end testing (unit, integration, UAT) for SD enhancements and new implementations
Support integration between SD and other modules (MM, FI/CA/CO)
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely root-cause analysis
Participate in S/4HANA migration/upgrade projects, including data conversion and process redesign for the simplified data model
Create and maintain functional design documents, configuration guides, and training materials
Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom enhancements (user exits, BAdIs, forms) where standard configuration isn't sufficient
Support month-end/quarter-end close activities related to sales and billing processes as needed
Required Qualifications
4-8 years of SAP SD consulting experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or migration
Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
Pricing procedures and condition technique
Sales order management and order types
Billing and invoicing processes
Shipping, delivery, and transportation basics
Credit management
Solid understanding of SD's integration points with MM, FI, and CRM
Experience with S/4HANA-specific SD changes (e.g., simplified data model, Fiori apps for SD, output management via BRF+/Adobe forms)
Ability to write functional specs and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
